Phenomenon: The car clutch makes an abnormal noise when it is separated or engaged.
Cause: The release bearing lacks lubricant, causing dry friction or bearing damage; there is no gap between the release bearing and the inner end of the release lever; there is serious oil and dust between the release bearing sleeve and the guide tube, or the release bearing return spring and the pedal return spring are fatigued, broken, or fall off, making the release bearing return poor; the spline hole of the driven plate and its spline shaft are loose; the driven plate damping spring is annealed fatigued or broken; the rivet of the driven plate friction plate is loose or the rivet head is exposed; the pinhole of the double-plate clutch transmission pin and the intermediate pressure plate and pressure plate is worn and empty.
Diagnosis and troubleshooting: Slightly press the clutch pedal to make the release bearing contact with the release lever. If there is a "rustling" sound, it is an abnormal noise from the bearing. If the abnormal noise is still heard after refueling, it means that the bearing is excessively worn, loose, and damaged and should be replaced. Press and lift the clutch pedal. If there is an intermittent collision sound, it means that the release bearing is moving back and forth and the release bearing return spring should be replaced. Press the pedal continuously and if there is a sound when the clutch is just engaged or disengaged, it means that the rivets of the driven plate are loose or exposed and the driven plate should be replaced.
